Creative Women’s Showcase

November 1 @ 5:30 pm - December 8 @ 2:00 pm

Opening: Friday, November 1, 2024 from 5:30-9pm

Curated by Ilisa Zollenberg

“Art is a powerful communicator. It connects us to each other. It introduces us to strangers. It is a storyteller of the soul. It entices the audience to look further into a message that needs to be told. I am so grateful to live the life of an artist. Throughout my career as an artist, business owner and entrepreneur, I am inspired by the talented women I have met. It has always been a dream of mine to create a place where women can come together to recognize, support and empower each other’s talents. Curating this show provided me a voice to do that.” — Ilisa Zollenberg, Curator

Exhibiting Artists: Serena Bocchino, Meeta Garg, Ivey Kampouris, Grace Martoccia, Seanna Noonan, Carolina W. Rivera, Isabell Villacis, Ilisa Zollenberg

Wearable Art and Miniature Wire Rings and Sculptures: “The objects and miniatures that I create using my paintings and sculptures as inspiration are to widen my audience, sharing my work with more people. Recently, I have become fascinated with transforming my wire sculptures into miniatures. They have become ‘wearable art.’ This new medium is a limited edition, one-of-a-kind ‘miniature sculpture’ utilizing techniques similar to my larger sculptures and combining Swarovski crystals and specialty stones/beads for punctuations of color and reflective elements. Now you can wear my sculptures as rings or neck pieces. Each piece carries my signature.” — Serena Bocchino

Available for Purchase: Sculpture Rings and Neck pieces, Children’s Art Books, Heroes Book, Men’s Ties, Women’s Scarves, and Miniature Paintings
