“The Orange Crush” by Lisa Winner

Lisa Winner is a documentary photographer, specializing in family and travel photography. Firmly rooted in place and texture, her work explores complicated subjects: nature, and its ever-evolving state of being; humanity, and how we exist in the everyday; and finally, the story of family, the true to life stories that can’t be replicated in a portrait studio.

Her work has been featured in National Geographic Your Shot, and multiple group exhibitions, including the International Center of Photography’s #ICPConcerned exhibition and Texas Photographic Society’s exhibition, TPS 29: The International Competition. She resides in Alameda, CA with her husband, two human children, and two dog children: Chloe and Mr. Rufus.
