Watercolor Pouring

Learn how to pour transparent watercolors directly onto paper to create luminous color, creating a glow that is hard to duplicate with a brush. The instructor will show you step-by-step how enjoyable it is to pour watercolor, by demonstration and with hands-on lessons. Students will pour the backgrounds, the lights and medium values, and paint the darks.

About the Instructor
Lena Shiffman: A well published children’s book illustrator; attended Spectrum Institute of Commercial Art in NJ; studied at The Parsons School of Design and the Art Students League NYC; member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and of the Rutgers University Children’s Book Council.
