C411 – Saturday Cartooning & Comics

Back by popular demand! After the huge success of our summer camp program, Gene Kim returns to lead a Saturday morning session all about making comics. Each week students explore fresh prompts that spark new stories, characters and worlds while learning the basics of storytelling and character design. In this 1.5-hour class kids have time to draw, imagine and collaborate as they bring their own ideas to life and create comics to share with friends and family.

Special Notes

Class will not meet on November 29, 2025.

Materials

We’ll supply all the materials, though students are welcome to bring any writing or drawing tools they especially enjoy using.
