This workshop will demonstrate to students how to become more proficient in painting various bodies of water and reflections in watercolor. Basic and advanced techniques of applying watercolor washes, glazes, and wet into wet techniques. The class will be taught through step-by-step demonstrations by the instructor. Students will receive one-on-one feedback from the instructor, there will be individual and group critiques. The workshop is designed for novice, intermediate or advanced students.

About the Instructor
James Powles education consists of an Ed.D. from The College of St Elizabeth, M.A. in Fine Arts Education from Kean University, and a B.A. in Fine Arts/Studio from Montclair State University. He has 25 years of teaching experience in the New Jersey’s public school system. His artwork is in numerous corporate and private collections. As well as being exhibited in professional art galleries.
