Judge: Susanna Baker
Susanna Baker is a NJ based artist who combines printmaking, painting, sewing, and 3D effects to create unique artworks. Driven by process, she uses organic and geometric shapes to populate a multi-layered space that might be massive or microscopic. Baker has exhibited widely in both group and solo shows, throughout NJ, NYC, Providence RI, and San Francisco CA. She has also curated a number of shows in the NJ area. She received her BFA from Rhode Island School of Design.
Since 2014, Baker has been the Executive Director / Gallery Director for Studio Montclair, Inc, a 500+ member, inclusive non-profit organization that provides myriad opportunities to both artists and art lovers.
