Discover the secrets of color with artist Andrea Gianchiglia in this interactive color theory workshop. Have you ever wondered how to create that perfect hue or how to mix it again confidently? This workshop is designed to answer those questions and more. Andrea will guide you through the fundamentals of color theory, helping you understand not just what works, but why. You’ll explore color harmony, value, temperature, and other core principles through fun, engaging exercises that make learning easy. This is a relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop that also offers plenty of depth for returning students or anyone eager to strengthen their foundation. Students will work in acrylics, but the lessons apply to any color-based medium.

About the Artist
Andrea Gianchiglia: BFA, University of Hartford Art School, major in illustration, minor in art history. Exhibitions: Many solo, group and juried shows at various galleries and museums in the tri-state area. Awards: has won awards for her specialty, animal portraiture. Her work is in private collections throughtout the country and is available for commissions. A member of Society of Animal Artists, Salmagundi Club, and the Catherine Lorillard Wolfe art group.
