First Prize ($500): 14th Amendment by Darryl Lauster (Arlington, TX)
Second Prize ($250): Prosthetic Landscape by Yixuan Cai (Los Angeles, CA)
Third Prize ($100): Hope Springs Eternal by Tracy DiTolla (Oakland, NJ)
In addition, Patti Jordan (Montclair, NJ) and Judi Tavill (Rumson, NJ) were awarded solo exhibitions at The Center for Contemporary Art

About the Juror:

Hunter O’Hanian has a long career in supporting visual arts and LGBTQ+ studies.  He is the past Executive Director of the Stonewall National Museum and Archive and the College Art Association, the largest professional association supporting art historians and visual artists in the world. Prior to that, he was the founding Director of the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art.

Prior to joining Leslie-Lohman, Hunter was the Director of the Foundation for Massachusetts College of Art and Design.  Prior to that, he led two renowned artists’ residencies programs, having served as the President of Anderson Ranch Arts Center, outside Aspen, CO, and Director of the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, MA, the largest residency program for emerging artists and writers in the United States.

Hunter has a long career of non-profit board and community involvement. He is the past board chair of the Alliance of Artists Communities, the national membership organization for artists’ residency programs. Hunter graduated from Boston College and received his law degree from Suffolk University.  He is presently working on a collection of stories and images by Baltimore artist, Amos Badertscher.

Artwork may be be picked up from The Center on the dates and times listed below.
If you provided a prepaid return shipping label with your artwork it will be shipped the weeks of March 18 & 25.

Sunday, March 17 from 10am – 1pm
Monday, March 18 from 9am – 8pm
Tuesday, March 19 from 9am – 8pm
Wednesday, March 20 from 9am – 8pm
Thursday, March 21 from 9am – 4pm
Friday, March 22 from 9am – 2pm
Saturday, March 23 from 9am – 4pm

No artwork will be held after these dates.
