453-Ceramic Ornament Making

In this creative workshop, students will learn to make holiday ornaments or wall hangings to give as a gift or hang in your home year round.

Students will be taught to roll clay slabs, cut out shapes, and then add details such as texture, glaze, and decorate using transfer and carving techniques. A variety of shapes will be available and students will be able to create 3-5 ornaments, and have fun while doing it!

After the workshop, we will fire your pieces for you and coat the top with clear glaze. You will be able to pick up your finished pieces 2 weeks later.
