Recommended professional grade watercolors. Holbein, Winsor & Newton, Daniel Smith and Sennelier are excellent brands. If you are new to watercolor, buy Cotman.Cadmium Yellow or Winsor Yellow

I like to use synthetic brushes as well. Escoda, Princeton and Loew Cornell are very good brands.
Paper: Arches or Fabriano. 9 x 12” or 12 x 16” cold press block, 140 lb.
