This class introduces students to the world of relief printmaking. Each week we will focus on different beginner’s techniques and materials used for block printing without the need of a press. Students will use a variety of reference of their choosing, working at their own pace, with help, guidance and encouragement from the instructor. Each class we will discuss a new blockprint artist for inspiration and students will go home with at least one finished piece.
NOTE: There will be no class on 5/27.
