138-Animal Portraiture

In this workshop students will learn how to depict a variety of animals with focus on proportion, form, texture, and color. Demonstrations in various media and subject matter will be given. Students may work in any medium they prefer and can either work from the reference given by the instructor or their own reference.

Please note: This is the VIRTUAL component of a HYBRID workshop. There will be students participating IN PERSON concurrently with the virtual component of this workshop. This workshop will be held via Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent a day prior to the workshop start date.

About the Instructor

Andrea Gianchiglia

BFA, University of Hartford Art School, major in illustration, minor in art history. Exhibitions: Many solo, group and juried shows at various galleries and museums in the tri-state area. Awards: has won awards for her specialty, animal portraiture. Her work is in private collections throughtout the country and is available for commissions.
