About the Instructor

Scott Samuels

I am an artist and art teacher in the West Windsor-Plainsboro School District, with over 9 years of teaching experience.  I'm passionate about helping students of all ages explore their creative potential, hone their skills, and learn to express themselves through the language of visual art! I believe that every child is naturally creative—and my favorite part of teaching is helping students discover their own artistic voice.In my classes, we don’t just learn how to draw or paint—we explore, experiment, and express ourselves through color, shape, texture, and imagination! Whether we're painting with brushes or building with mixed media, I love watching kids grow in confidence and creativity. When I’m not teaching, I’m busy creating my own artwork—abstract oil and acrylic paintings and colorful collages. I can’t wait to share what I’ve learned with you and make some amazing art together!
