C407-The Clay Lab: Wheel & Handbuilding

From the wheel to the workbench, this is where clay becomes whatever you imagine. In The Clay Lab you’ll explore both wheel throwing and handbuilding to create everything from functional pieces you can use every day to sculptural works that show off your style. New to clay? You’ll get step-by-step guidance to master the basics. Already have experience? We’ll help you refine your techniques, tackle complex forms, and experiment with bold ideas. You’ll learn glazing, surface design, and firing, with plenty of freedom to design and personalize your own projects.
