C105-Drawing Intensive-IN PERSON

This intensive class provides teens with important fundamental tools to deepen their drawing skills. Students will learn the elements of a good drawing and develop a firm foundation of form, composition, perspective, value, and line quality. The class will also explore the drawings of well-known master artists from different periods and styles.

Note: There is NO CLASS on 2/7.
Note: Snow day on 3/14.

Special Notes

Note on Health & Safety Policy:

The Center has updated its Health and Safety Policies and Procedures related to COVID-19. As of  August 22, 2022, vaccinations are suggested but not required. Masks are suggested but not required. 

All students must comply with the Health and Safety Policies and Procedures found on The Center's website. There will be no refunds for students removed from class for failure to observe The Center’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.

In the event of a closure due to the COVID-19 virus, this class will move online using ZOOM. There will be no refunds or credits for classes that were scheduled to take place on-site but were moved to an online format for health and safety purposes.

About the Instructor

Barbara Guerriero

Barbara Guerriero-Flites is a graduate of Kean University with a BA in Art History and a BA in Sociology. She also has a Master’s Degree in Art Education. Her career started a Christ Hospital Psychiatric Unit teaching Art. She started  at Morris Union Jointure Commission since September 2001 where she has been an Art Teacher for students who have Autism since then.
