6-C Exploring Surrealism

In this mixed media camp students will study artist Salvador Dali and the surrealism art movement. Students will learn the features and characteristics of surrealist art to create their own art inspired by this movement. 

Health & Safety Policy:  The Center has updated its Health and Safety Policies and Procedures related to COVID-19. As of  August 22, 2022, vaccinations are suggested but not required. Mask wearing is suggested but not required. 

In the event of a closure due to the COVID-19 virus, this class will move online using ZOOM. There will be no refunds or credits for classes that were scheduled to take place on-site but were moved to an online format for health and safety purposes.

Full-day campers (those registered for a morning and afternoon camp) will have a supervised lunch period from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at no extra charge.

**Sibling Discount** If you are registering more than one child for the same week of camp, please call the office at 908-234-2345 to learn how to receive $20 off each additional child.

Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be given to students who cancel at least 3 weeks prior to the start of the Summer Camp Session, less a $50 cancellation fee, per registration. No refunds will be given for cancellations received with less than 3 weeks notice before the start of the Summer Camp Session.

Behavior Policy: The Center reserves the right to dismiss any student for inappropriate behavior or failure to comply with The Center’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures during COVID19. About the Instructor

Daviana Angus

Daviana Angus, Art Instructor: Born and raised in The Bronx, NY. Daviana received her BA in Fine Arts from the University at Albany and her MA in Creative Arts Therapy from Pratt Institute. Daviana is a self taught artist with over 10 years of experience working with children teaching Visual Arts. She implemented a Visual Arts program that explored the Elements of Art/Principles of Design, past and contemporary artists, and famous art movements to enhance creativity development. She has a passion for teaching the arts and her goal is to encourage creativity and provide an enjoyable art experience for all participants.
