Join us for a delightful artistic adventure where you’ll learn to transform ordinary terracotta pots into personalized works of art, ready to cradle your favourite plants and flowers just in time for Spring! Draw inspiration from the natural world or come up with your own abstract designs, we will guide you every step of the way with references from our own collection to inspire you while also covering fundamentals of acrylic painting, from colour theory to brush techniques, ensuring you have a solid foundation to create your own unique designs independently. These personalized pieces will definitely make for charming additions to your home or thoughtful gifts for loved ones. In addition, connect with fellow participants who share your passion for art and gardening. An excellent opportunity to unwind, socialize and make new friends in a cozy and inspiring environment.

3. Painting palette or piece of cardboard covered with a plastic for acrylics
4. Set of 12-24 acrylic tube colours

About the Instructor

Smriti Sangal

Smriti is a multidisciplinary Visual Artist and an Art Educator with a teaching experience of over 10 years with kids and adults of all ages. She has a Bachelor's in Fine Arts from Delhi University, India, and a Master's in Fine Arts from the University of Arts London. Post her Master’s she co-founded an art studio in New Delhi, India in 2015 called “Culture Chauraha” where she would conduct workshops and classes in a number of art mediums along with partnering with organizations and individuals to curate unique art experiences & commissions. She recently moved to the United States in 2023 and is excited at the opportunity to explore herself and her work in a new country.
