Zachary Lichtmann’s exciting, new novel, Dynamo, reveals an important message for young adults: taking a stand to become the person you want to be is the greatest fight of your life. It’s a lesson that Lichtmann feels strongly about and is putting to good use for a cause right here in New Jersey. He’s donating a portion of the proceeds from all sales of Dynamo during the month of February to The Community FoodBank of New Jersey. And that’s not all he’s doing.
Lichtmann will be holding a meet-and-greet event at The Center where he will be reading select passages from his novel, signing books, and offering a Q&A session—free to the public. Attendees will be able to hear select passages and pick Lichtmann’s brain about the novel and writing, and will also find out information on what kids and adults can do to “take a stand” in their own communities in the fight against hunger and poverty in New Jersey. Lichtmann has also promised to give out some surprise freebies to those who attend. Be sure to mark your calendars for these great community events.
