Instructor: Johanna Cordasco
Johanna Cordasco is an interdisciplinary artist focusing in sculpture and textiles. She holds a BFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts with a concentration in sculpture and minors in art history and psychology. Cordasco was selected to be a summer resident at Yale Norfolk School of Art in 2021, was awarded the Scott Cagenello Prize in 2022, and worked as a Studio Assistant at Penland School of Craft in 2023. Cordasco currently works at Mason Gross School of the Arts as the Sculpture Department Assistant, and enjoys volunteering at organizations such as Grow-a-Row, the Livingston Eco Preserve, and the DC Center for the LGBTQ+. In her artwork, Cordasco believes in blending craft and fine art and working with eco- friendly materials and found objects. Website: johannacordasco.com
