SUMMARY:Faces in Watercolor Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Learn to draw and paint a face in watercolor. Warm up with sketches of faces at different angles to help understand the three-dimensional structure and proportions of a generic face. Working from your own photos\, you’ll learn the process from sketch to final drawing on watercolor paper to painting. SUMMARY:Watercolor Workshop: Waterlilies
DESCRIPTION:Waterlilies rise up out of the muck at the bottom of still water. Their round sculptural leaves float on the surface. Here and there beautiful white flowers emerge. There’s a reason Monet loved them so much. Besides the plants and the water\, there’s the reflection of the sky above. We will analyze the plant\, then sketch a composition of floating lily pads and lilies. Finally we will apply a variety of techniques to capture their color and mystery. \nTuition: Members:$69/Non-Members: $94 \nAbout the Instructor \nDoris Ettlinger: A graduate of RISD and the University of Wisconsin – Madison; teacher/coach of the Musconetcong Watercolor Group in Hampton NJ.
