SUMMARY:Watercolor Workshop: Waterlilies
DESCRIPTION:Waterlilies rise up out of the muck at the bottom of still water. Their round sculptural leaves float on the surface. Here and there beautiful white flowers emerge. There’s a reason Monet loved them so much. Besides the plants and the water\, there’s the reflection of the sky above. We will analyze the plant\, then sketch a composition of floating lily pads and lilies. Finally we will apply a variety of techniques to capture their color and mystery. \nTuition: Members:$69/Non-Members: $94 \nAbout the Instructor \nDoris Ettlinger: A graduate of RISD and the University of Wisconsin – Madison; teacher/coach of the Musconetcong Watercolor Group in Hampton NJ. She has illustrated 40 picture books for children. Her books feature a sensitive drawing style and skillful watercolor technique.
