C203-Drawing & Painting

This program is designed for young artists with a love of drawing and painting who want to deepen and develop their skills. Students will develop a firm foundation of form, composition, proportion, value, perspective and line quality to develop drawings. They will also explore painting with attention to the use of color, light, shadow, composition, and brush handling. The teacher will provide frequent demonstrations. Children are encouraged to repeat this class to continue to build on their skills.

NOTE: There is no class on May 20th

About the Instructor

Danielle D'Amico

Danielle earned her BFA from School of Visual Arts in Manhattan with concentration in Illustration and worked as a freelance artist before becoming the fifth owner of Juxtapose Gallery in 2014. She is thrilled to share her passion for art history and art making with her students.  Danielle is an award-winning artist, exhibiting nationally, has been affiliated with several artists groups and organizations, and has many of her artworks in private collections.
