C107-Mixed Media

Young artists complete hands-on projects that encourage self-expression and creative problem solving while having fun and learning to work in a variety of media, including acrylic paint, markers, watercolor, tempera, colored pencil, collage, and oil pastels. The class explores the basic principles of visual art, art historical periods and styles, and the work of well-known artists. Students will also explore the art on view in the galleries.
