438-Digital Storytelling

In this four week hands-on program, we'll learn all about the structure and principles of great storytelling for any form of story, whatever the artistic medium might be. Through weekly in-class exercises, collaborations, lectures and personalized instructor feedback, students will be able to craft a storyboard sequence or comic pages of their own original story in any style they'd like, whether it's anime, manga, webtoons or live action content. The class is taught by storyboard artist Gene Kim who has storyboarded on shows for Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Max and others and was also a former Pixar and Disney CG artist before switching to storyboards.

This class is recommended for 12+ and young adults
