402-Introduction to Writing

Discover the Writer Within!

Think you aren’t a writer? Think again. In this six-week course, you will discover the writer within you!

We all have stories to share, and in this class, writers will find their voice on the page, and be inspired to create with the written word.

No writing experience is necessary!

This creative writing course provides a supportive community, where writers will develop their voices, explore their creativity, and most of all have fun! Each week there will be in-class writing and sharing, where simple strategies, concepts, and exercises are taught, all to breathe life into your words. Strength-based feedback is provided in this judgment-free group. No homework is assigned.

The last week will be an “open mic” event where writers can share a piece they’ve written with the community and celebrate their creativity!

Special Notes

All students must comply with the Policies and Procedures found on The Center's website. There will be no refunds for students removed from class for failure to observe The Center’s Policies and Procedures.
