236-Animal Portraiture

In this workshop students will learn how to depict a variety of animals with focus on proportion, form, texture, and color. Demonstrations in various media and subject matter will be given. Students may work in any medium they prefer and can either work from the reference given by the instructor or their own reference.

All students must comply with the Policies and Procedures found on The Center's website. There will be no refunds for students removed from class for failure to observe The Center’s Policies and Procedures.

About the Instructor

Andrea Gianchiglia

BFA, University of Hartford Art School, major in illustration, minor in art history. Exhibitions: Many solo, group and juried shows at various galleries and museums in the tri-state area. Awards: has won awards for her specialty, animal portraiture. Her work is in private collections throughtout the country and is available for commissions.
