144-Colored Pencil

This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to begin their journey with colored pencils or those who wish to expand their skills and learn some new techniques. Discussions and demonstrations on various paper surfaces, burnishing, layering and more will be given. Elements such as color, value, form and proportion will be shown.

Materials

Toned paper (strathmore toned grey or tan) or Strathmore artagain pad
Prismacolor colored pencils (bigger the set the better but at least the 36 ct)

About the Instructor

Andrea Gianchiglia

BFA, University of Hartford Art School, major in illustration, minor in art history. Exhibitions: Many solo, group and juried shows at various galleries and museums in the tri-state area. Awards: has won awards for her specialty, animal portraiture. Her work is in private collections throughtout the country and is available for commissions.
