Volunteer

The Center for Contemporary Art hosts an annual dinner to thank volunteers for their support. This cake was donated by volunteer Elena Shumskaya of The Fine Art of Cakes, Stirling, NJ. Elena has won numerous awards for her distinctive and artistic cake designs.

Become a  Volunteer for The Center!

We invite you to join a dedicated, enthusiastic and passionate group of individuals who play a key role in helping the art center grow and prosper.  If you want to volunteer, you will be rewarded by giving, doing and meeting other people who care about the arts and our community.

Mailings

Provide assistance with mailings through envelope stuffing, labeling and stamping.

Special Events

Lend a hand at gallery receptions, lectures, and other special events by registering guests, pouring wine, providing hors d’oeuvres, distributing programs etc.

Fundraising

Work with the staff to provide vital support to the art center’s fundraising initiatives.  Must be able to meet monthly and then weekly closer to the time of the event.  Leadership positions as well as tasks large and small are available.  Contact Ellen Rannells, Special Events Coordinator, at erannells@ccabedminster.org.

House & Grounds

Help maintain the art center’s historic facility and property through light gardening and handy-man tasks.

Gallery Crew

Help install gallery exhibits by hanging works of art and signage, spackling nail holes, light painting etc.

Birthday Party Aides

Serve as volunteer assistant to instructors during children’s birthday art parties.  Birthday parties are held on Saturdays and Sundays.  Must be 15+.

Children’s Programs

Limited spaces are available each summer to assist instructors during the art center’s weekly summer art camps and classes for children.   Must be 15+.  Contact Norma Rahn, Director of Education, at nrahn@ccabedminster.org.
