Birthday Party Aides
Love children? Serve as volunteer assistant to instructors during children’s birthday art parties. Birthday parties are held on Saturdays and Sundays. Must be 15+.
Board of Trustees & Committees
Have talent/time/treasure to share? The Board of Trustees is made up of dedicated individuals with a broad range of skills, interests and backgrounds who are passionate about The Center’s mission and vision, and committed making a difference in the community! Board Committees include Fund Development, Finance, Marketing, Exhibitions and Education and are made up of Board and non-Board members.
Building & Grounds
Looking for a hands-on way to help? Help maintain the art center’s historic facility and property through light weeding and gardening, and handy-man tasks such as painting, light bulb changing and minor repairs.
Want to join forces for a good cause? Join an event committee and work with the staff to provide vital support to the art center’s fundraising initiatives. Attend regular committee meetings and assist with events from inception to completion! Volunteers are involved with sponsorship, ticket sales, marketing and more!
Love art? Get a behind the scenes look at what goes into mounting and art exhibitions. Help exhibiting artists install hand and display artwork and signage, repair nail holes, light painting etc.
Detail Oriented? Provide assistance with sorting, labeling and envelope stuffing for year-round exhibition, appeal and event mailings at The Center.
Enjoy working with the public? Lend a hand at special events such as gallery receptions, Youth Art Month programs, lectures and more by greeting guests, helping with registration, serving wine, setting up hors d’oeuvres, etc.
Summer Camp Aides
Really love children and want to build volunteer hours? Limited spaces are available each summer to assist instructors during the art center’s weekly summer art camps and classes for children. Must be 15+.
