Youth Art Month Events

March is Youth Art Month!

The Center for Contemporary Art, in partnership with Art Educators of New Jersey, invites you to celebrate a month of exhibitions and events focused on young artists.

Exhibit Part I: Artwork by students in grades 6 through
Exhibit Dates: March 1 – 10, 2013

Sunday, March 10th
2- 3:30 p.m. – Opening Reception
2:30 p.m. – Awards Presentation and Artist Demonstration by muralist Dan Fenelon
Students can watch the artist at work and then participate in a group project!

 Part II: Artwork by students in grades K through 5
Exhibit Dates: March 15 – 25, 2013

Sunday, March 24th
2- 3:30 p.m. – Opening Reception
2:30 p.m. – Awards Presentation and Family Open House
Children can create a variety of art projects under the guidance of our faculty!
